Class Size: 6 students
Class Level: Beginner, 14 yrs and up.
Participants ages 14-17 yrs must be accompanied by a legal guardian who is also registered for the class.
Description: Students will make a cheese knife
Skills Taught: You will be introduced to the parts of the anvil and how they are used; hammer control for effective movement of metal; the basics of drawing out, tapering, and bending; operation of a propane forge, and shop safety.
Prerequisites: Some experience is very helpful, though not required.

Refund Policy: Eligible refunds will be issued as website credit according to the schedule outlined below. Monetary refunds may also be requested, minus a 5% service fee.
Refund schedule: 100% refund with at least 30 days notice, 50% refund with at least 14 days notice. No refund with less than 14 days' notice. If the class does not fill, we reserve the right to cancel and issue a full refund as a website credit.

Safety equipment to bring:
Safety glasses (mandatory), also recommended over prescription glasses
Ear protection
Leather gloves
Leather apron (optional)
Attire
Clothing should be cotton or wool. No synthetics like windbreakers or nylon pants.
Leather shoes.
No loose-fitting clothing.
Long hair must be tied back.
Bring your own water bottle, lunch, and snacks as needed.
